Domestic Fire Claim Case Study

On the morning of 18^th March 2022, a devastating house fire completely destroyed a family home located in Kingston Upon Thames. The house, a two-story building, was home to Mrs Rinke & Mr Kusy along with their beloved cat.

Upon investigation, it was determined that the fire originated in the kitchen and quickly and intensely spread throughout the whole house. The house was declared unhabitable with severe fire and smoke damage.

Mrs Rinke & Mr Kusy lost most of their belongings, though very few personal items were salvaged from less affected areas of the house. The family temporarily relocated to a hotel and then onto rented accommodation.

With the help of Oakleafe and Raj Soni the house was renovated and restored over a period of 18 months to a very high standard.

The policyholders were so thrilled with the service that Mr Kusy wrote a book, on their claim experience and dedicated the book to our very own Raj Soni.
